This website is a bunch of general psychology bits brought together to help you live better

General rules

You know the way pink chicken is not safe to eat? Think of this as the psychology equivalent. Basics that people might not know, but really should and can make a big difference.

Not a replacement

For any real psychological struggles or issues, make sure to consult a mental health profession. This website is not intended to address those problems, but to explain some of the basics of how our minds work.

Pick what you want

This is not like a school curriculum, you don’t have to learn everything. Simply look at any topics that might take your interest. It’s up to you!

What works for you

The tools here are general ones that have research showing they work on. But you might react different. It is important you pay attention to how you interact with these things.

  • A little is way more than nothing. Every page will have a summary. Even glancing at that might be helpful if you are not up to read everything.

  • Don't multitask with this. If you sit down, try not to do so whilst watching your phone, having a conversation etc. If you can, give it its own time. Even just 1 minute.

  • This is just one website. There is so much psychology out there. Just make sure it is a good source (e.g. a qualified psychologist) and follow your curiosity!
